Lake 11

Following a competitive process for the Urban Design of 8 hectares of new residential park area called Lake City, Budapest’s 11th District, Coldefy has been selected with Demeter Design Studio and 5elem to develop approximately 175 units of housing with parking, services, and supporting commercial spaces.

The design integrates a series of buildings among an existing green area, preserving the human scale and natural qualities of the site while strengthening the feeling of community and the residents’ connection to nature. Furthermore, the project aims to rethink the residential product Post-Covid, proposing high-quality, large flats, able to be reconfigured for differnet family models or work-live needs, each with visual and physical connection to the green, lakeside environment in which it sits.

The project will provide several unique flat typologies that will be among the first of its kind in Budapest’s residential market.
